About Abstract Expressionism

If you look at an abstract expressionist piece of artwork (mine, anyway) and you wonder how it was made, I offer you this: every single decision I make, that is to say, every single mark you see, was either made ‘in flow’ (google for a deep dive into this concept) or after careful deliberation. There’s nothing there that isn’t meant to be there, nor is there anything there that isn’t meant to be there.
